Chief Executive Officer
David Coury brings more than 26 years of experience in the health care industry to UroGPO. As CEO, he is responsible for oversight of all operating and marketing functions, while ensuring the continued integrity and best practices of the organization.
Prior to starting UroGPO, David lead the successful launch and subsequent sale of the long-term care pharmacy company, Pharmacy Management Group (PMG), which is now a multistate, multimillion dollar per year operation under PharMerica. In 2008, David was recognized for his entrepreneurial skills and integrity in business as a regional recipient of the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award.
David is a former member of National Advisory Board for Managed Healthcare Associates (MHA) GPO and a founder of InfinityNP (INP), a growing nurse practitioner resource. He graduated from Miami University of Ohio with a Bachelor’s in Finance.
Vice President, Business Development
Darren Dieleman comes to UroGPO with more than 17 years of urology and oncology experience in the surgical device and biotechnology sectors. His extensive experience in general management as well as in new product development and launch were instrumental in his prior roles at Endo Health Solutions, Healthtronics and Endocare, where he held titles including Regional Vice President and various other roles with increasing levels of responsibility.
Throughout his career, Darren has repeatedly been recognized for his contributions as an individual and as a team leader, receiving the Core Value Award for Innovation and multiple Chairman’s and President’s Club Awards. He holds a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from the University of Northern Iowa and graduated with an MBA from the University Of Chicago Booth School Of Business.
Director of Member Services
Graduate of the University of Toledo with a BS in Business Administration, John has worked in healthcare for 20+ years, 15 of those focused in the long-term care pharmacy market. John was an industry leader during the implementation of Medicare Part D, where he was asked to speak at regional and national events, sponsored by such organizations as Ohio HealthCare Association.
John is looking forward to bringing his pharmacy billing & claim reconciliation experience to assist the UroGPO membership with the in-office physician dispensing solution.
Director of Operations
Christy Javers joins UroGPO as the Director of Operations. She holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration in Finance from John Carroll University. Christy brings more than 6 years of employee benefits experience, in both the private and public sectors, to UroGPO and is responsible for day-to-day operations. Christy’s organizational and administrative responsibilities will include direct communications to UroGPO members and industry partners, corporate compliance, and logistics for all UroGPO meetings, conferences and advisory boards.
In-Office Dispensing Implementation Specialist
Shannon Owens was formerly the lead Trainer at QS/1 Data System for 9 years. Prior to that, she was a certified Pharmacy Technician in a hospital-based pharmacy working on QS1 software for 3 years and in retail pharmacy for over 5 years. She is currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science Programming at Limestone College. With Shannon’s experience, we are excited about the one-on-one approach to implementing in-office dispensing, QS1 training and support for our members.
National Accounts Manager
Palmer DePetro joined UroGPO as the National Account Manager in 2015. He works with the membership on a series of projects that fall under our “Membership Optimization Strategy”. In his role, Palmer is focused on the betterment of the member experience and developing the tools and reporting that will enable practices to better measure the success of their practice.
Prior to joining UroGPO, Palmer worked for 8 years at another privately held, Cleveland-based company where he was largely responsible for cost and quality management, client/employee/supplier development and goal execution while meeting client required service levels.
Palmer holds a Bachelors in Administration from John Carroll University and brings more than 8 years of experience in business line and supply chain management.
Beyond work, Palmer is involved with multiple charities and serves as a Director for the Emily Hall Tremaine Foundation and as board member for Greater Cleveland Habitat for Humanity. Palmer lives in Chagrin Falls Ohio, an east side suburb of Cleveland with his Wife Diana and daughters Sydney and Reagan.
